Prayer Times & Qibla is a simple mobile app that automatically calculates all five daily prayer times and gently notifies you as each one approaches. Pick your city or grant location access, and Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha times appear instantly, with a reminder sent right when each one begins.

What the App Offers

• Times by City or Location: Choose your city from a list, or use your device's location for the most accurate times for where you are.
• Automatic Prayer Reminders: A local notification/alarm is sent to your device as each prayer time approaches, and it keeps working without an internet connection once set up.
• Qibla Compass: A live compass powered by your phone's sensors shows the exact direction to the Kaaba from wherever you are.
• Clean, Fast Interface: No clutter or distractions — every prayer time for the day, and the time remaining, on one screen.
• Multiple Languages: Available in Turkish, English, Arabic, French, Indonesian, Urdu and more.

The app never asks you to create an account; your preferences are stored only on your device. Prayer time calculation is powered by the AlAdhan API, and in-app ads are served by Google AdMob.

This Privacy Policy explains how the "Prayer Times & Qibla" mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use it.

1. Information We Collect

Location data. With your permission, the App accesses your device's GPS location (or a location you search for manually) to calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla direction for that location. Location coordinates are sent to the AlAdhan API (api.aladhan.com) solely to retrieve prayer times, and are not stored on our servers — we do not operate any backend server; the App communicates directly with AlAdhan's API and Google's advertising services.

Advertising identifiers. The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address, and other technical data to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where you have consented. Locally stored data. Your selected location, language, and notification preferences are stored only on your device (not transmitted to us) so the App can schedule prayer-time notifications.

We do not require account creation, and we do not collect your name, email address, or other directly identifying information.

2. How We Use Information

• To calculate and display accurate prayer times and Qibla direction for your location.
• To schedule local notifications/alarms for prayer times.
• To show ads that help keep the App free, and to measure ad performance.

3. Advertising & Consent (GDPR / UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before showing personalized ads, in line with GDPR requirements. You can review or withdraw consent at any time from the App's settings (where available) or by resetting the App's data in your device's system settings.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We do not operate a server and do not retain your data ourselves. Locally stored preferences can be deleted at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
